Who we are

The Quiet Rewind is the trading name of Nix Bonham, of 3 Perrymead, Manchester, M25 2QJ. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and any details you share when booking a session, joining our mailing list, or accessing a free resource. Where you engage in coaching or therapeutic work with us, this may also include information about your wellbeing, personal circumstances, or health — which is treated as "special category data" under UK data protection law and handled with extra care.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We use your information to provide our services, respond to enquiries, process bookings and payments, and — where you've opted in — send marketing communications. We rely on your consent, the steps necessary to perform our contract with you, and our legitimate interests in running the business, as the legal basis for processing. Where special category data is involved, we rely on your explicit consent.

Who we share it with

We never sell or share your data for marketing purposes. We use trusted third-party services to run parts of our business, currently including Flodesk (our email marketing platform) and Acuity Scheduling (our online booking system). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

How long we keep it

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, meet legal or accounting obligations, or as you would reasonably expect, after which it is securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • ask us to correct or update inaccurate information;

  • ask us to delete your information;

  • withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis for processing; and
