Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to your use of this website, thequietrewind.com, operated by Nix Bonham trading as The Quiet Rewind. If you book a coaching or therapeutic session or programme with us, the specific terms of that engagement are set out separately in our Client Agreement, which you will be asked to read and sign before work begins. Where the two documents differ on a booked service, the signed Client Agreement takes priority.

Who can use our services

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Intellectual property

All content on this site and in any materials, worksheets, recordings, or resources we provide — including text, images, and frameworks — is our intellectual property. It is provided for your personal use and must not be copied, shared, resold, or redistributed without our prior written permission.

Not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care

Our coaching and therapeutic services are intended to support insight, personal development, and emotional wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric treatment, crisis support, or other specialist services where these are required.

Your responsibility

By using this site or purchasing a service, you agree to take full responsibility for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes. We aim to be fair, honest, and respectful in our dealings with you, and we ask the same in return.

Payment

Fees are confirmed before booking. Payment is due in accordance with the terms shown on your invoice or booking confirmation. If a programme is paid in instalments, you remain responsible for the agreed payments unless the engagement ends in line with these terms and applicable consumer law.

Cancellation and your statutory rights

Where you book as a consumer at a distance (for example, online), you normally have a 14-day cancellation period beginning after your contract is entered into, during which you may cancel without giving a reason. If you ask us to begin providing services within that period, you are expressly requesting early performance, and if you later cancel, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided.

After any statutory cancellation period has ended, there is no automatic right to a refund simply because you change your mind. Where a refund is considered, we take into account sessions and services already provided, preparation and personalised work already completed, materials already supplied, and any reasonable losses arising directly from the cancellation. Any amount retained will be reasonable and proportionate, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. We are not responsible for losses resulting solely from decisions or actions you take independently following a session.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with any part of our service, please raise it with us as soon as possible at hello@thequietrewind.comso we can try to resolve it informally. You'll receive an acknowledgement and a response within a reasonable timeframe.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing here affects any mandatory legal rights you have as a consumer.
